Born in Asheville, NC

Our journey began with a bump. Trekroll wanted to make comfortable and convenient sleeping gear in the US for the casual camper. We love camping and knew the features to include. Then (bump) the economy slowed and our intended manufacturer, understandably, passed on the project to manage labor. We contacted 40 more shops nationally without luck. Bad timing. We had our design, a big pile of fabric, boxes of hardware and our goal.

Plan B - That was fortunate. We learned industrial sewing, found flex space in Asheville, NC, bought some machines and hired talent. We are proud to offer the best night’s sleep at the campground, on the road or in the field… and on our journey, we intend to do some good.

Made in Asheville, NC because of the deep Western North Carolina cut & sew heritage and support of a vibrant outdoors industry. Trekroll pays a living wage with flex hours to best meet the needs of our talented makers. Cut & sew is in an industry where entry-level skills find good employment in a changing economy.

Brand ambassadors tell our story to campers and travelers where they live and play. In addition to earning a nice sales commission, ambassadors build sales/marketing skills wanted in a growing outdoors industry. Plus they get a Trekroll for keepers. Apply online.

Zero waste, regional sourcing, eco-logistics and giving back are best practices. We join our customers and partners in making this planet a better place.
